June Webster는 미국 코네티컷의 화가입니다.

코네티컷 대학에서 회화를 전공하고

오랫동안 여러 기관에서 어른들과 아이들에게 미술을 가르치고 있어요.

American Watercolor Society의 시그니처 멤버이자

다른 많은 협회에서도 활동하고 있는 작가이고,

수상과 전시도 활발히 하고 있습니다.

작가는 도시와 도시 사람들을

그리는 것을 좋아한다고 해요.

또한, 입체파-사실주의 스타일을 탐구해왔는데요,

그리드와 중첩된 이미지들, 그리고 입체파 회화의 기술을 그림에 적용했습니다.

작가가 그리려는 것이 분명히 드러나면서도

깨진 형태로 나타나는 새롭고 복잡한 현실과

다양한 시각, 활기찬 공간이 만들어지고 있어요.
